Went out for breakfast this morning and it was pretty good. Cost a fortune mind. But the kids ordered pancakes and bacon with maple syrup. Fine.
Except for the fact they’d sprinkled GRANOLA and SEEDS on it. And through the stack. What the fuck. Utterly baffling.
Sounds like that cafe really likes granola.

I remember taking our eldest for lunch at one of those Farm Shop / café places. We ordered her a kids’ ham salad. They served chilli bread alongside it. Chilli bread on a children’s meal, wtf.
Had some mini chorizo from a tapas place in Manchester and they were covered with bacon bits and a fried egg, unannounced on the menu, was a bit much
Once went to a cafe in Pevensey, I think, ordered the macaroni cheese for a three year old off the children’s menu, came with unadvertised spinach throughout the sauce. Impossible to pick out. Like, whoever made that decision has clearly never met a child in their life

Even for adult mac and cheese that’s completely unacceptable.
