Me only wrong in the Star Wars thread? I’ll take that, while disputing I was wrong in the Star Wars thread

I hated (and still hate) peanuts and just kind of assumed I hated all nuts. how wrong I was. pistachios were the gateway nut.

Didn’t have my first haggis toastie until I was 27 years old.

tuna mayonnaise

always made it with salad cream due to me growing up on the breadline, but mayonnaise is the superior mixer

I definitely started my first office job without ever having a cup of tea myself or making one for someone else!

I had no idea what I was doing. I had to get someone to show me how

I used to not even be able to stand the smell of any asian food, especially chinese.

Now I cannot get enough.

Oh man, I told the bf about the haggis toastie and how I was concerned he might think it was a bit excessive if I were to suddenly make it. He said i was wrong to think this. I said I’d wait till we had a big night out and then I would go full haggis toastie the next morning to absorb any hangover.

What have you done.

Remind me what’s in it again please.

Certainly! I’ll give you the cod*-recipe if you like, I’ve observed the lads make it so often.

  • Haggis
  • Smoked bacon
  • Cheddar
  • Caramelised red onion chutney
  • Mustard
  • Rocket
  1. Pre-fry some bacon and haggis and keep it to the side.
  2. Spread some mustard on 2 slices of crusty brown bread, thickly cut
  3. Spread caramelised red onion chutney on top of that.
  4. Pop in the haggis, bacon, grated cheddar and rocket
  5. Fry on both sides but make sure you’ve got something heavy on the sangas to weigh them down so the cheese melts.
  6. When both sides are done, fry the ends of the toastie in a pan for 10 seconds and serve.

I tell you what is fucking rang: caramelised onion on a pizza. Keep trying it, keep remembering it is rang.

Christ. As a base you mean? Or as a topping?

As a topping. What the fuck are you on about? You can’t make a base from caramelised onion.

Someone strike all his posts from the record.

I mean sure but I’m not the one repeatedly putting caramelised onion on pizza.
