Steak

You get the odd really good one but there’s no way it’s worth the premium in restaurants, especially when dirt cheap in the supermarket

People go nuts for it in a way I never understood

stuff like wotsits and monster munch. probably wouldn’t say no to a packet, but on the other hand, wouldn’t be seen dead walking out the newsagents with a packet.

Worked in the kitchen of a posh place as a youngun and got to taste some caviar a few times. It’s ok. But how’s man’s paying that much for it? Rich people are dizzyy.

Never tried caviar, but lobster is fine. It’s just a big prawn, isn’t it?

Said this on here once and somebody (don’t know who) got needless agg and inferred whatever homemade hummus I was making was probably shit, on no evidence at all.

crab > prawn imo

Most of it really.

that’s mad

chick peas + garlic + vinegar, 30 seconds in a blender

easiest thing in the world to make

Depends how fresh. Prawns are amazing but only when they’re properly fresh.

Crabs come out of the sea fine, and stay fine forever

Vinegar you say? Interesting.

Chipaes, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt for me

Where’s your tahini big man

Amazed this has gone unchallenged but this is a correct answer. Mediocre steak has dragged the average down so far that it just doesn’t deserve the reputation it has.

they have quite a lot of taste imo

I really like hummus, even the depraved flavoured stuff. Don’t care it’s superb.
