Strange wording to make it sound like they’re aiming to finish in the bottom 3

Just gonna have to pull 13 points clear then :muscle:t2::muscle:t2: Up the Tics

It does sound harsh, and I’ve no doubt there’s going to be other teams genuinely struggling who might need to do it. But I’m pretty sure the cynical nature of football owners means that if you remove the penalties you’ll get some clubs abusing it.

It’s also an opinion I’ve come up with in the last ten minutes, might be talking shite.

They’re in good form tbh so finishing 12 points above the drop doesn’t seem out of the question.

Are Wednesday still getting relegated for ffp breaches. Would seem incredibly harsh if Wigan got done for this and Wednesday’s was waived

Wednesday and Derby’s cases still ongoing. Really do need to be sorted before the end of the season.

Lots of slagging off Leeds for the value of the JKA deal but just one of those unfortunate things really. We needed a striker, he wasn’t injured when he arrived, we couldn’t have foreseen a global pandemic seeing the season run until July.

Must admit it’s a bit insane that his loan isn’t being extended but he could be back again in a few weeks if we go up with an apparent obligation to buy him.

He may not have scored the goals we all wanted but we will always remember his contribution to the football threads. Thank you JKA

It was all going too well, wasn’t it? Heartbreaker :broken_heart:

And isn’t that the real goal?

I’ve never really known how to put it, but I’m always slightly angry at the people SELLING a club that they chose absolute shitbags to take over. It’s not like the Co-app selling a dozen eggs to someone who then chucks em at a politician, but like… idk… LIKE ARGH.

I’d read/heard that there was a force majeure clause in the administration and ffp rules. May have been on a podcast a while ago and I’m probably misremembering!

Really hope they can get 12 points clear either way.

Lorenzo Pier Paolo Amoruso (born 28 June 1971) is an Italian former footballer who played as a defender for seven teams in Italy, Scotland, England, and San Marino during his footballing career, but is perhaps best known for his six-year spell with Glasgow side Rangers.

Wigan is a big worry. Feel bad for them but also the state of other clubs lower down. A lot of the football league was in a financial mess anyway and a lot of clubs could go under. Think the league system could look very different in a few years and not for the better.

he’s making Oliver Skipp train as a right back

Yep, could literally end up with just two professional divisions…
