Forest winning the playoffs?!

Gonna go with:

CHAMPIONS: City (But going down to the final day of the season)
CL QUALIFIERS: Liverpool / Spurs / Arsenal
RELEGATED: Brighton / Watford / Huddersfield
SURPRISE PACKAGES: Fulham / Burnley (they’re not really a surprise package anymore though, are they?)
SURPRISE STRUGGLERS: Leicester / Watford
BEST SIGNINGS: Keita / Torreira / Schurrle
WORST SIGNINGS: Richarlison / Moutinho
FIRST SACKING/DEPARTURE:Warnock
MANAGER OF THE YEAR: Dyche
PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Keita
TOP SCORER: Kane
FA CUP: Liverpool
LEAGUE CUP: Spurs
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: City
EUROPA LEAGUE: Leipzig

GENERAL BIG SHOUTS:
At least two PL teams in the CL semis
Three teams to be able to win the PL on the final day
Mourinho to do a Chelsea and publicly berate a member of the backroom staff which alienates the whole squad.
Aubameyang to bag more than 25 goals in all comps.

God knows with the championship. But you’ve got the right coach + investment, so as good a shout as any I suppose

Predicting is hard this year as I’ve had zero interest in what’s going on since the World Cup

CHAMPIONS: Man City
CL QUALIFIERS: Liverpool. Man Utd, Chelsea
RELEGATED: Cardiff/ Huddersfield/ Newcastle
SURPRISE PACKAGES: Man Utd, Fulham
SURPRISE STRUGGLERS: Burnley, Spurs (6th)
BEST SIGNINGS: Alisson, Fred, Jorginho
WORST SIGNINGS: Richarlison
FIRST SACKING/DEPARTURE: Puel
MANAGER OF THE YEAR: Bald Fraud
PLAYER OF THE YEAR: KDB
TOP SCORER: Lukaku
FA CUP: Liverpool
LEAGUE CUP: United!
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Barcelona
EUROPA LEAGUE: Arsenal or Chelsea

GENERAL BIG SHOUTS:

  • United and Mourinho won’t combust. There isn’t the perfect storm there was at Chelsea. Spurs/Chelsea/Arsenal were all some way behind. 3rd won’t be good enough though, and Mourinho might still leave at the end of the season
  • Spurs struggle a bit in new stadium, have good periods, and bad periods. Win nothing, Poch leaves at end of season.
  • One of Chelsea or Arsenal absolutely pisses the Europa
  • Ronaldo isn’t enough for Juventus to win the Champions League. Real do fine but can’t win it. Barca or maybe City win by default?
  • Newcastle do a bit shite, Rafa walks, slip from 12th slowly down the table and don’t leave the relegation zone once they get there

2018/19 treble winners…

CHAMPIONS: Man City
CL QUALIFIERS: Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool

SURPRISE PACKAGES: Not sure any would be a big surprise really
SURPRISE STRUGGLERS: Same again (but Burnley I suppose)
BEST SIGNING: Mahrez
WORST SIGNINGS: Alisson
FIRST SACKING/DEPARTURE: Dunno
MANAGER OF THE YEAR: Pep

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Atletico Madrid
EUROPA LEAGUE: Arsenal

No idea at all with the top four apart from City being top, wouldn’t be at all surprised by any order from the rest of the top 6. Expect Liverpool to be good in the same ways as last season but the system/style of play is too reliant on a few players with no suitable alternatives, so can envisage a bad run of form at some point. Think Chelsea will settle well under Sarri and play great football, just a question of whether or not they’ll have the firepower upfront imo. Ozil, Aubameyang and Lacazette all to do well for Arsenal. Can definitely see Kane scoring plenty more goals and Man United will probably be much the same as they have been under Mourinho.

Our playoff record is… bad. Think we’ll be in the mix for sure, the Portuguese lads seem to have started well.
