I used to go to their games when I lived in South Glasgow if I had nothing else on because it was £2 as a student to sit in Hampden

(I also had a couple mates who were actual Spiders fans)

Begrudgingly agree

Its pretty mad, do they open the whole stadium up/what are attendances like?

About 300 and no just the main stand where the cameras usually are so if you watched it online it looked like it was empty. Thinking about it, I guess it was a pre-covid experience of what was to come

Always think it must be nice for visiting teams in the lowest league to get to use facilities better than anyone in the divisions above.

I noticed Rufete’s son is playing for Valencia now, another Fran I think.

City ruin young Spanish players. They should stop coming. There was a young kid a few years back - Juan Roman Olle - meant to be the great new thing then disappeared. Brahim Diaz. Denis Suarez didn’t get a game. Aleix Garcia looked brilliant then spent about three years playing for some plumbers in Holland. Manu Garcia, Pozo, Bernabe. Even Angelino somehow looks like a competition winner here but Roberto Carlos in Germany.

Arsenal were at it for a few years too before City. how many Spanish youngsters actually made it through English academies and had good careers after? Not counting Fabregas as he pretty much went straight into the first team. Pique? Bellerin maybe, but not exactly had a great career. Angeliño could be really good imo.

thought Aleix Garcia was gonna be great but played in Romania and Eibar last year.

Be fun to guess how that algorithm works. Might pitch my entire credibility on Foden being the next David Bentley.

This got posted in a group chat I’m in and I’d guessed it was one of those social media posts created just to make people cross and stir up engagement.

No Mbappe? Even though it seems skewed massively by age? Or Neymar? Greenwood in 2nd is bonkers too. Haaland seems too far down for the breakout star of the Bundesliga.

Seems like total bollocks to me but then I I don’t know how they came up with that list.

Guess it’s taking into account the time left on people’s contracts

Though I think even with just a year left on his deal M’Bappe would definitely cost more than 120 mios to buy atm.

Kevin Davies has been retired for years as well

Really funny that everyone’s favourite former Dundalk manager is in a position to give Celtic genuine employment advice

John Percy is pretty reliable isn’t he?

Yeah he is

I’m guessing we must have a decent transfer budget. I can’t imagine him being happy with the budget Roy had.

That Spurs interview must have gone really poorly.

we’re about to sign Ian Mackay

For Midlands clubs he’s probably the most reliable source aside from it actually being cpnfirmed so yeah, I’d be expecting that to happen
