As a long time Grime obsessive few things have made me happier than it’s resurgence over the last few years. But for those new to the genre it must be difficult to dig beyond the classics and officially released albums.
So much of what I loved about Grime at it’s peak was ephemeral - whether it be a radio set, fire reload at a rave, DVD freestyle or a long lost and forgotten mixtape ordered off ukrecordshop.com. Thankfully we have youtube so a lot of its up there.
So this is a thread for posting amazing neglected grime tunes, freestyles & sets from yesteryear. Go!
Fine by me. Love Doogz’s old ragga flow and this is a straight up classic.
He also has the distinction of being one of the few people to beat Wiley in a war (the first time, I think Wiley won the 2nd one) but I don’t know if those dubs are on youtube?
