yeah it did. PUBG is almost identical to the rules of the BR movie

It has ‘danger zones’, but I didn’t think it explicitly had a shrinking play area, in the same way that they explain it in the Hunger Games.

I dunno, it’s been over 15 years since I watched the film.

Not really into games where you shoot people any more. Feels distasteful.

Also playing through this for the first time. Infuriated by the horse movement and swimming, but otherwise a really pretty and interesting game

Also for my money Fortnight is great (can’t complain as it’s free) and I don’t even pay for playstation online, or whatever it’s called, and can still play it.

PUBG I haven’t played because it’s not on PS4 and I don’t own a PC

just found this 2012 hot take from erik kaine

I am that person. wish there was a practice mode so I could properly get to grips with the building without people trying to kill me

there was an American remake of BR in the works at some point, but it got shelved after there were too many IRL school shootings and they realised it would be pretty crass

Two years on, now quite into Fortnite

V plays a lot of Fortnite. Quite disappointed to hear that chug jugs are no longer a thing.

I still like Forters but my duo buddy has gone over to that new CoD battle royale game

Yeah why is it called fortnight

I get that you build stuff, like a fort. But not sure if that’s enough to base a whole pun name on

trying to play this for the first time now
It’s really nerve wracking

There’s a bit of a learning curve but it’s great fun when you get into it
