 it was a typo your honour!!

R found a shell fossil (or more likely fossil relief) that was just one of the bits of gravel in the garden. Well impressed out of thousands of tiny stones he spotted this single tiny remarkable one.

Get yourselves to Charmouth if you want to find some fossils. My family found a big one on the beach there once. It’s pretty cool.

My ex housemate with the v intense religious relationship had bought her then-bf an engagement ring with dinosaur fossil in it…

Ammonites in rock are the absolute tits

there’s a website that says where the best ones are

really enjoy beachcombing when i’m at the beach even though i never find anything good. will sometimes find a pretty rock or shell, hold on to it for like 15 minutes and then get bored of it and put it down

I already regaled the boards with this I’m sure but about two months ago as I was falling asleep I thought to myself “I really wish I’d find a fossil soon”.

The next morning I went into my back garden and spotted a bit of slate, picked it up…it was only three ammonites fossils, wasn’t it.

just lying about in your garden. amazing.

Bonkers. Not even buried, just on top of some logs, guess maybe the gardeners unearthed it and put it there.
