Frankfurt

Just finance shit? Any fun stuff? Sausages! Suggestions please and thanks

Nice airport (only place I’ve been there)

The local delicacy is a kind of herby sour cream poured over boiled eggs or boiled potatoes.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it.

You getting an Eintract game in?

It’s pretty boring in my experience (few trips for work)

Might get zwei tracht games in if I can!

Doing the marathon so not the end of the world. Just want some footy to watch and some decent places for food and booze after

UEFA did guides for each of the host cities for the Euros last year which I actually found quite useful for finding good pubs as well as other general tourist stuff

Ah yeah, this is definitely the first food that comes to mind when one thinks of the city of Frankfurt.

One of the few places I’ve been mugged (for my make up bag full of crap).

Found it boring but there must be something decent.

Not helpful - sorry

Just get currywurst + frites from anywhere you can.

If you’re there for long enough to justify a day trip, I’d get myself to the stretch along the Rhine between the Deutches Eck and Loreley. Some great castles and scenery. Not just before a marathon tho.

It has the Robert Johnson, one of the best night clubs I’ve ever been to.

The cinema musuem was fun. Otherwise it is quite boring.

Went for a trade show years ago. Stayed in a hotel that was clearly a brothel. Got skinned by a Russian gangster.
As @Severed799 said the airport is decent :slightly_smiling_face:

Such a glowing thread for Frankfurt

Might get the train to Brussels after the race and have my fun there before a eurostar home
