Worked at Costa briefly during uni. At the end of the day we’d get to take home all the about to be out of date paninis. Great stuff.

Now I get salary sacrifice pre-tax child care, which financially is excellent, but it’s hard to beat that sweet, sweet mozzarella pesto panini wedged in to a domestic toaster.

What’s the desk calendar situation like?

Everyone has their own desk. In fact, in our London office we currently have 8 desks and 3 meeting rooms between the two of us…

Are they all adequately provisioned with novelty calendars though?

I was going to “YSC” you, but in trying to take that picture on my phone I chose “Calendar” instead of “Camera”, so

Outed myself as having not read most of the thread here, haven’t I? Assumed Eps was commenting on the likelihood for a hot-desking system. I have no desk calendar.

When I worked at a publishers, we used to get loads of samples of expensive toiletries that were advertised. I can confirm that £50 face cream can bring you out in as nasty a rash as anything from Superdrug. I guess it’s a luxury rash though.

The old midday meals supervisor used to save me some flapjacks.

The new one still gives us free lunch if it’s leftover but we’re not there yet (saving flapjack stage).
