Spotlight is just one of those modern day films, similar to Margin Call, I could watch every time I see itās on. Big topics, but told in a intimate and subdued way. The brilliant cast helps as well.
Might check this out. I would have preferred a 90 minute documentary but this might be good.

Great film. A real landmark in British gay cinema. Highly recommend.

Not being much on + already watched most of those = Mommy as the only thing iāll be recording.
Never seen Chef but I hate it
Mommy is ace tl
I saw Chef it was not good.
Off that list for me Iāll be tempted with (re) watches of District 9 and Grand Budapest Hotel. It Follows was decent but not sure how well itād fare in a rewatch.
I think It Follows will hold up really well, I hatd Grand Budapest though
You reckon? Maybe so. Only one way to find out I guessā¦ Tbf it was a good few years ago since I watched it.
Only just spotted Happy Death Day was in the list. That was a pretty fun watch iirc, and Iāve still not got around to watching the sequel.
I hate any Anderson film so it didnt surprise me
Happy Death Day is fun! Liked that but it defo didnt need a sequel
Ah fair enough.
It is right! At first I was really unsure but really really enjoyed it.
Yehh I think thatās probably why I havenāt rushed to watch the sequel, just cause it stands alone so well. Not going to rush to watch it just yet, got plenty on my list from recent adds to Shudder & Prime and ofc Mubi now
Oh yeah, you seen owt on Mubi yet? Its put a good un on today
I have, Iāve watched a couple of shorts and then finally got to watching A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night.
Oh is that the film of the day one? The 10th Victim? Just been having a quick look on the app and looks like that will be a decent watch. Iāve got a good few lined up on there I wanna watch though, a little spoilt for choice (which is a great problem to have haha).
What"d you.reckon to A Girl Walks Home?
10th Victim is good, nowt remarkable but a good watch
I quite enjoyed it, it was not what I expected, but I wasnāt sure what to expect in fairness. Really appreciated the cinematography etc, it felt like it portrayed the āmoodinessā (not sure if thatās the right word) really well.
The Innocents - Talking Pictures - 9th July
Bit late to recommend to anyone who hasnāt seen it before as itās already been on tonight, but thereās a reason why itās considered to be one of the greatest horror movies of all time. Absolute classic of its genre.
