📺 Freeview Films For The Week 📽

I quite enjoyed it, it was not what I expected, but I wasn’t sure what to expect in fairness. Really appreciated the cinematography etc, it felt like it portrayed the ‘moodiness’ (not sure if that’s the right word) really well.

The Innocents - Talking Pictures - 9th July

Bit late to recommend to anyone who hasn’t seen it before as it’s already been on tonight, but there’s a reason why it’s considered to be one of the greatest horror movies of all time. Absolute classic of its genre.

never heard of this but i’ve just read up on it a little and it sounds brilliant so i’ve set to record it. thanks for the heads up :+1:

There’s a really cracking bit of psychedelic sound design-driven spookiness part way through as well courtesy of (iirc) the Radiophonic Workshop’s Daphne Oram

Oooh it’s on Netflix, it’s a mini series but very good. Think I binged the whole lot in like 2 viewings last summer. I recommend :slightly_smiling_face:
