Call the council. And pretend to be family otherwise they will fob you off.

That’s so sweet

Not sure where you can ask about it, I know though from when my granddad was in a similar position that the carers weren’t allowed to stop them going out, it was only when he was in a proper care home that they could keep him in. Was quite lucky that he almost always wandered to my dad’s work and they looked after him there.

It is really great you help her x

It’s so fucking dark but if you are old and have no family, no one will help.

I think that’s fair enough if she wants to go out but if theyre there surely they should walk with her. I worry about her so much, she’s always crying and doesn’t want to ask for help as she feels like a burden.

She had such a good time sitting with the kids before though, she was pretending to be a tiger. Oh man, I love her.

Hello, big fan. Fucking hate that song though.

Big fan of the black eyes peas?!

I know, its so sad, she told me she’s lived here since before she was married so I guess like 60 years, and there should be so many neighbours to help her but idk, not many do, myself included in that. Going to try harder to be there for her. She also made our gardens absolutely fucking majestic, what a babe.

Yeah, it should definitely be something that carers should help her with if it is causing her that distress. Feel like things get so pared down to the most basic needs that there is never enough consideration for people’s mental health and that is so terrible and sad

No, of you and your husband- pillars of this community, so ye ur. But I cannot and willnot condone the BEP.

Just woke up from a 1.5 hour undisturbed nap on the couch listening to ambient music. Dogs didn’t come up and lick my face, whine, bark, cats avoided me, couldn’t hear Mrs on her work calls from the other room. Pure bliss.

Starving however.

A Storm is Heaven is a beautiful, underrated album

Not that I’m not partial to some of their later stuff. I know people associate Urban Hymns with the big overplayed singles (which I also quite like) but c’mon Catching the Butterfly is a beauty scoop my bloopy-bloops

ASIH and ANS are two of the greatest albums of the 90s, and their early singles compiled together make up another classic album  UH annoys me or is dull in places, but it’s only Sonnet and Drugs I’m truly sick of. The good bits of UH stand up to their best work; Come On in particular is fucking incredible

(I really like the bits of Forth where that early experimental side shines through too)

I have Forth (bought 2nd hand years after it came out) but only listened to it once or twice. I should give it another go

The Verve HGATR would be really interesting
