Hi funky. Another shit night. Night quite as shit as previous ones, but still not good. My wife and the babby are sleeping upstairs, and I’m entertaining the kiddo. Think I’ve drawn a short straw somewhere. Listening to the new Besnard Lakes album though, so that’s something. Working the late then weekend off.

Not a great sleep, about 3 hours? Urgh. Did my run, 35 mins, so was chuffed with that. Payday today, thank god. Really want takeout pizza tonight but supposed to be saving those pennies.

Two very boring meetings + a new (rather less boring) project to start work on
There is apparently a review of the album I put out a fortnight ago on our very own Disintegration State
in this months magazine Electronic Sound magazine
Looking forward to reading that at some point today if someone can screenshot their copy

Morning all!
Sorry to all those returning to work or struggling with sleep. The Child woke up for fifteen minutes last night but I think it ruined my feeling of having rested.
I’ve got a class to teach this morning and some work to sort out after lunch. I might treat myself to a Subway because I have some vouchers.
Joining the no sleep club after my bf screamed in his sleep at 4am and I wasn’t able to get back to sleep …
Managed to cut out a dress pattern and the fabric though so might be able to do a bit of sewing today
I need to get out of the grump I’m now in after one of my team called me at 7.55am (and then again at 8.10am) to moan to me about something non-urgent.

Are you able to ask that for all communication to be conducted in writing? They shouldn’t really he able to refuse, it will mean you have a record of everything said and it takes the stress of immediacy out of having to respond to what they say?
