Yes, I like it a lot and think it’s a very underrated album - their last decent album before I lost interest in them. Hope this helps.

That’s exactly what I was looking for, thanks CeeJay.

It’s the beginning and the end of my relationship with Green Day. I didn’t like anything that came before, and I haven’t liked anything that came after. But for some reason that one really struck a chord.

Actually I think I subsequently went to see them touring American Idiot and left after an hour as it was unspeakably bad.

I saw Greenish Day replicate the American Idiot show on a tiny stage at a Derby beer festival. I felt really sorry for the guy who had to pretend to be Green Day’s anonymous auxiliary guitarist. And they even did that bit where they bring an audience member onstage to play guitar. With a bloated Derby real ale fan in a Hawkwind t-shirt, it didn’t really work.

  • Burrito
  • Subway (dislike but ‘healthy’)
  • Fancy sandwich
  • Eggs and wheaten bread
  • 2chicken gujons and chips with a can
  • Just drink some water and coffee you bourgeois scum

Driving down to Brighton-via-Dewsbury tonight :open_mouth:

you’re in Belfast right? anywhere near a Boojum? I wish I could have a Boojum right now

Boojum is the aim of the game rn… not sure if I’m entirely up for it but the people have spoken!

I was thinking of ticking the burrito one too but then didn’t.

Where would you have got the fancy sandwich?

Ah yes, it was during the interminable ‘bring audience members onstage to play guitar, bass and drums’ section that I buggered off. As I left the building they were playing a Queen cover.

Watching one of my coaches fight in a cage this evening :muscle:

Probably going to work through my lunch so I can leave a bit early to get there on time.

One last plug for anyone in Brighton this weekend

I’d expect The Doors to be a bit higher on that lineup.

(Good luck, would attend if I could!)

I preferred them when they pursued solo projects. Handel was particularly good.

My brother was there and sent me a message last night containing the same anecdote.

An ex bought me the same Travis album.

I always think of her when I read that Lester Bangs essay about how any woman who shares my taste in music is probably a broken, soulless husk.

I’ve just woken up :expressionless:
