Just had a training session on a new trial I’m working on were the patients get injected with radioactivity. I asked what happens if the nurse makes a mistake and needed some more drug, would there be any extra? The trainer was like ‘it’s radioactivity you fool they don’t make mistakes’ :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

Can’t stop thinking about designing a little seaside town today, like you get in American movies. With big houses overlooking beaches. And a funfair. And loads of farms surrounding it. Maaaaaate.

  • based on the intros round of Buzzcocks
  • people volunteer to be either the guesser or the singer
  • singers record their clips on Vocaroo and post them (maybe two per person?)
  • guessers do the guessing with a maximum of, say, 3 minutes per guess
  • points awarded for correct guessing and speed of guess, or something

Have you been to Seaside in Florida? It’s where they filmed the Truman Show - they don’t have the rides or anything like that but it has the big houses and a beach and it’s made to be the ‘perfect’ town.

Weird, kind of spooky and lifeless place but I’m obsessed with the Truman Show so it was the highlight of my trip to see my brother who lives right near it.

(it’s like a timeshare village I guess)
