Happy birthday! Reasonable night’s sleep with a 6 day year old. Off to Eureka on the train this morning with the bigger one. But first lots of coffee and paw patrol (ugh).

Thanks! Heading into that there London town, to go to for posh breakfast at Ottolenghi Spitalfields. Then to RoughTrade to buy 3 records, don’t know which 3 yet, but definitely 3. After that I’ll probably need a sleep as I’m now as old as old stuff. If not might grab a cocktail somewhere in that neck of the woods. Got given a backgammon set, haven’t played that since being a student, so looking forward to relearning the rules.

It’s my last day of planning before classes start so I’m meeting a friend for coffee because I don’t have a confirmed timetable yet. I’m going to the wine shop afterwards.

Off today, so 4 day weekend. No plans. Will offer to have the kids do my wife can get out and have some time away from them. Need to get a new salt mill. Exciting.

We’re supposed to be going to the beach today but I’m not out of bed yet. I’ve felt well lethargic since getting back from Yorkshire. I’m definitely That Dad when it comes to marshalling everyone out of the house, but the traffic up to Old Hunstanton is always terrible after about 9.30am.

Last day of annual leave and my partner and son are at the in-laws. Been for a 10 mile run, gonna listen to a few new releases and then clean the flat. Then decide between going to see Talk To Me at the Prince Charles Cinema or a few wanker beers somewhere in Putney before football tonight. Feels weird to be doing so much “me” stuff.
