Yes and no. I’ve always been careful to ‘tone it down’ a bit, remove the racier piercings from my ears, tame wild hair into a neat chignon or bun, dress fairly conventionally. however a new girl has started in the construction team and she has this WILD black spiral curled hair and she wears it loose like a goddess, wears bright red lipstick and really amazing dresses which aren’t very lawyerly. I’m quite jealous of her style tbh! I’m moving firms very soon and I’ll have the chance to reinvent myself I guess- I might go a bit more daring!

Might go into town centre to do most of my xmas shopping when I get off as haven’t done loads/nearly all of it

Have seen him a couple of times but haven’t seen Autre Monde yet, missed their first Belfast show but hopefully they’ll be back up at some point. Village of Loomers is an absolute choon. Would love to see Ginnels again too and they don’t seem to gig much lately.

Have got a few things to get done tonight though before I head back home for Christmas tomorrow morning. Ah well.

I’ve got everything for all of the kids in the family but feck all for the grownups. Going to have a large wine in a minute and then get started. I will end up overspending to compensate for my lack of forethought. Every year I say ‘this won’t happen next year!!!’ Every year this happens.

Yep, it’s a Walthamstow institution. The bacon jam is probably its best-known product - the posh Spar next door sells some Eat 17 products. I think there’s a thread about that branch somewhere on DiS.
