Just had about 53 panic attacks uploading a website for uni and discovering that all the file paths (PHP includes, links, images) were fucked because I pointed them all to the root when I was developing locally but I wasn’t hosting it at the root online, it was a few levels up. What a fucking nightmare. In the midst of a dreadful few days, massively behind on a uni project due in on Monday like to the point where I’ll have no choice but to submit something only about 40% complete. Stayed up yesterday till 10 in the morning trying to fix a javascript problem because I get so obsessed with trying to solve things like that that I lose sight of how much other stuff I ought to be doing. I look like I’ve aged about 7 years. The lecturer’s are gonna be expecting my work to be well good based on my previous submissions. Head’s gone.

Regards the file paths I’ve been there and done that, I developed a reporting portal for a customer even though I’m not a web developer and hadn’t for years. I’m more SQL, Ssis, access and excel vba.

But notepad++. Was a life saver for editting thousands of HTML files at the same time.

Haha, well I fell asleep too and completely missed the last half an hour of the film! Upon waking up, I tried to convince my friend that I had in fact been awake for the ending and started to reel off what had happened but in fact it was some alternate ending that unfortunately I’d dreamt up :no_mouth:

Ah man, tonsillitis is the worst. A couple of years ago mine went nuclear and I ended up with Invasive Group A Strep which then developed into sepsis. 9 days in hospital, very nearly died, but they still won’t take them out. I think you need to get it 5 times in a year or something before they’ll consider it. Hope you feel better soon.
