Usual London Friday night of :pizza: and :beers: and low quality horror movies.

Currently watching ā€œIbiza Undeadā€, a British film that’s a clear rip off of The Inbetweeners Movie but with zombies and worse characters and Super Hans from Peep Show and Alex Zane for some reason.

Guys, somehow, it’s not great.

There’s a movie called Fundamentals of Caring on Netflix, which I thought was very good. Heartwarming comedy - if that’s your thing.

Just got home from my mother in law’s retirement drinks. Was able to use the excuse that I had to get back for the dogs as a reason to slope off early.

Nowt else planned.

Think I’m going to watch that new Strangers film. I am not hopeful.

The one that was out in cinemas a little while ago?

I missed that in cinemas. Didn’t get greeeeeat reviews but I’m not sure the original did?

Castle of Cagliostro is on Netflix, and that is probably better than Spirited Away (don’t tell czuk I said this ).

If you fancy something in a similar vein to Fundamentals of Caring (albeit not as good) Like Father is alright (Kelsey Grammer and Kristen Bell).

Ah, the original got pretty good reviews at the time. I think it was mostly because it was subtle and a bit old school, I’m not a massive fan of it tbh. The new one doesn’t seem that great but I just fancy watching something scary I haven’t seen! The other option is the last thingy film… I always get it and Sinister mixed up… it’s something to do with a key? ERM… fucking hell, INSIDIOUS! Which i know will be awful too  Haha.

Ooh, this is on my list, but I haven’t watched it yet. Might rectify that tonight.

Hi

Grumpy, angry and depressed here today. Hate the thing I get where I feel sick and shaky for hours after a burst of rage, as if the shame wasn’t enough.

Good things though (when viewed in isolation):

  • Made pizzas (topped pre-made bases) for SFPP, just a load of veggie stuff. Was nice, R enjoyed helping/eating when he wasn’t being a terror.
  • Also made lo-fi stained glass (black paper w/holes cut out, tissue paper glued on to back to fill holes) with R which was fun, until again he decided to be a terror.

Tonight… going to finally sew an eye back on to my Totoro, put some name tags in some of R’s things ready for pre-school, and read.

Is the ā€˜I ate a Topic’ thread worth reading?

  • Yes, of course!
  • Meh, if you’re bored enough, I guess
  • Nah

Not read it.

Fair enough! And it almost certainly will be better than whatever the latest Insidious is.

I noticed Jigsaw has been added to Netflix. I enjoyed that quite a bit. It’s probably the… third best Saw film, but it’s also pretty much standalone.

that might have to do

Haha, yeah I read the synopsis for Jigsaw and I saw the trailer in the cinema a few times… I’m not sure I’ll bother watching it

Hej

I am at a jazz club waiting for these people to take to the stage

It’s not jazz - it’s psych dream pop

Are you actually watching Jigsaw?

Hey DiS!

Jimbo was way over tired tonight. Screaming fit at bath time and a bit funny before bed. Hopefully he’ll sleep until 11am tomorrow. That’s how it works, isn’t it?

Fish & chips for dinner, they were great though. Sharing a bottle of prosecco with the other half now, making plans for a cafe breakfast tomorrow.
