normally take my mam to see them, because i’m a top daughter (pretty much the only time i’ve been to the cinema with her as an adult). i dunno if she wants to see this one. she was v. enthusiastic about the last few, might have to give this one a miss and take her to the volcano one.

Watched Gilmore Girls all night, then changed my bedroom layout to Winter I format and so might go to bed early to enjoy the novelty of what feels like a new room. The new design has created a mini lounge area in there too so I can sit in the window and watch the birds…or my neighbour’s dog shit outside my window and no one clean it up, whichever.

Love rearranging furniture.

In a hotel room in the middle of fucking nowhere (Middleham?). It sure is pretty round ‘ere. It’s my pals’ wedding tomorrow and I’m making up 1/3 of the best men along with our very own @wilykit. Should be a good day and that. Probably should go to sleep now though.

Whisky recommendations please.
Just finished my little bottle of Jura Origin and fancy picking up something a bit darker and smokier tomorrow. Very occasional whisky drinker. Think I had that 35cl bottle for about 6 months! Found the Origin a little bit too light and sweet. Only going to Saino’s so won’t be too fancy.

Bowmore 15 sherry cask should sort you out. If you’ve got £500 knocking about then the 30 yr old highland park is the pinnacle of what yr looking for…sniffs…miss you old friend…

When you say smokey do you really want to go for it? The ardbeg uigeadail does so the crazy bonfire smoke thing BUT is bourbon cask and carries some sweetness to offer a bit of balance. It’s divine. With winter approaching I’d suggest a test dram
If you can to make sure it won’t be too much but pretty sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
