Morning Malva et al

Got some people coming cut the ivy down at 9.30am. Mini & I are getting the train to Manchester this afternoon for a jaunt round the museum and to meet Mr s_w for an early tea. In the meantime I’m having a coffee and doing some puzzles and watching Fraiser while mini snoozes. Got some laundry on the go too and I’ve unloaded the dishwasher so that’s me being productive done.

Have a pleasant Friday all!

evening will involve risking my life crossing the road to buy a chocolate bar then reading

I sang a song to Jimmy the cat to the tune of Copa Cabana (“his name is Jimmy. He is a kitty. He is a fluffy kitty cat, and I like his bum like that” etc) and he honestly looked quite appreciative of it.

Got a pretty nasty bruise on the top of my foot at footy last night so trying to ice it so I can play football tomorrow and race on Sunday. No plans today. Suggest a film to watch tonight please. I want something proper high art good shit where everyone’s sad and nothing happens

Hi everyone. Lots of work to do today (an unrealistic amount, probably) but will try and squeeze in a run at lunchtime. Got a full night of sleep at least.

Not really following your brief because a lot happens, but everyone is sad in Wild Tales and it’s brilliant.

Struggling to find the energy to leave bed. Need to return a parcel and get some work done before the long commute to the dentist this afternoon for a fun root canal assessment.

Plans for after have fallen through so sofa, Severance and films await. New book time as well.

goodbye

One for another time though

Feel completely asleep this morning. Didn’t get to bed until nearly 1am, and daughter woke us up at about 6:30

My standard 2 morning coffees has done absolutely nothing to wake me up. Can’t be arsed mates.

So, should I:

  • continue with gym today as you planned
  • gym tomorrow after walkrun

No plans today really. Tomorrow I’ve got a bit of time to myself and on Sunday we’re probably going to use a voucher up for my favourite IoW brunch place then go see the donkeys :revolving_hearts:

Day with the cheeksters. Got a playgroup thing at half 10, then going round my mum and dad’s for lunch. Probably stay there or wander into town, might take the kiddos to the pub, but that can get chaotic. Chippy tea later.

Morning kids

Just back from the school run. It’s meant to be a zoom free friday, so how have I got two meetings in my diary for this morning, eh?

Lewes Psych Fest tonight, but I’m going to drive, so it won’t be the most psychedelic experience for me.
