Home to Slough Town in the FA Trophy today. £5k in prize money if we win, that’s the better part of three weeks of the wage bill covered.

If we play like we did first half against Dulwich, we have a great chance. If we play like we did last week against Burgess Hill, we have no chance.

Should be a reasonable crowd.

We had him at the start of last season, scored 11 goals for us before moving to Leiston (same division) and netting another 11. Found the travelling to deepest Suffolk in midweek too much so returned to us in the summer and this time we have him under contract.

Scored 8 in pre-season, and has 21 in 22 starts in all comps since the season began. Has all the attributes - quick, strong, good feet and is the best finisher I’ve seen for Hendon in 17/18 years by a long long way.

Whether he’s good enough for league football, I don’t know. I don’t think he’s as good as, Jermaine Beckford, for example. But certainly Conference National standard.

If he goes, wish him every bit of success going.
