Morning all!

I’m teaching online this afternoon and have a reasonably straightforward list of tasks to do before that.

I did the one urgent thing I needed to do (check with Funding that one of my students was getting paid) and I’m now starting to struggle as I try to write a task for this afternoon. I probably just need more coffee but it isn’t quite snack time yet.

Achey from a post-work run last night. Woke up at five for no reason too???

Made a last minute decision yesterday to go see Stop Making Sense before it left Cineworld. Took a beer and some chocolate. A fine decision. Not sure music or film gets better than the one-two of Burning Down the House and Life During Wartime tbh, magic stuff.

Following this up by going to see the new Saw film tonight, obviously.

A bunch of people have turned up for their 10am appointments and I’m still waiting for my 9am

Don’t want to come across as not understanding of the difficulties of the nhs etc but I’ve had to fast for this and I’ve not even been able to take my medication, I’ve not even had water since 5:30am, and I’m worried about getting a migraine

this happened to me - was supposed to be seen at 9 and didn’t get seen until 11:30.

what I did was swill water around my mouth and spit it out - helps with the thirst.

Got up on time, did some exercise, now about to clean the kitchen/wash up and then do some baking as I’m going to Southampton this weekend, staying at my bros tonight and I’m so excited to see him and my little sister, been missing them lots.

Can I get the dishes done and have my thingies in the oven by midday?

Managed to spent £18 in Aldi and it only filled one tote bag. How’d that happen? Usually walk out with two bags for life full for about a tenner.
