Morning all 
Choice of transport options to work this morning:
- cycle to work in the pissing rain
- drive to work and sit in multiple sets of roadworks
- bus to work (combination of waiting for the bus in the pissing rain and sitting in roadworks)
I chose the first option. Pleased to report that my waterproofs are waterproof.

Morning all!
I think I’m taking The Child on a museum trip today but neither of us seem especially bothered about leaving the house. I need to return a book to the library and go to the post box.

my tonsils are swollen and i had a Bad Nights Sleep but they don’t hurt and i don’t feel that rough (actually i do feel achey but i think it’s DOMS rather than ill) so… here we are, logging in while in my pyjamas still.

Still in bed. Dog is being very good and letting us have a lie in. I’ve got a sore throat and blocked nose, so also potentially on illbook.
Think we might be getting the clippers out and giving the dog a groom later, as he’s starting to look like a bit of a scruffy mutt.
