Evening all :wave:

Spent much of the afternoon driving to the other side of Leicester to pick up an electronic drum kit (which is going to be the eldest’s Christmas present) that I won off eBay. Traffic was shite each way, though Google Maps wins over Garmin for (a) directing me around a massive pileup on the A47 and (b) not directing me straight through the centre of Leicester at early rush hour.

Also: got pulled over for speeding! Apparently I was doing 38 on this road that I guess I should have known was 30 (but is just this weird link road from the A47). I was apologetic, pled ignorance, blew zero on the breathalyser and was sent on my way.

Had chicken berry Britannia for tea, one of my favourites
