Keeps the gravy on the plate

When we were sat awake at 4.30 this morning watching BBC News, she kept asking why the people were carrying boxes. It was coverage of the death rate in Europe but she didn’t seem fussed that they were dead people.

Lovely eels.

:face_vomiting:

Bit of a crappy day: loads of problems at work, combined with lots of difficulties with the eldest’s home learning. To top it off, I got a telling off from one of the teachers because apparently the eldest’s mic wasn’t muted on a French lesson and they could hear all my phone calls etc etc. FFS you’d think that they could have muted her themselves? Poor girl didn’t realise.

On the plus side, there’s biryani in the oven and wine in the fridge so not all is bad.

That French teacher sounds like a proper merde tete and I’d be tempted to complain if they pulled that kind of shit a second time.

Some kind of polite, “Elder cheeky, can you mute your mic please?” would have been easier surely?

Someone go to Tesco for me please

Ok. Hope you like vegan cheese!

I tried to go earlier but the queue was right out of the car park.

No dice, unfortunately.

Probably better off trying A1 Comics for those anyway.

Too late now - I occasionally nip in when I’m picking The Child up but it’s always too busy at that time of day.

I probably won’t leave the house again until Monday now.

It has got to the point of missing people for me now that literally just being able to see as DiSer’s face and wave to them for five seconds or so would make my month.

(last meat I went to, and so last time I sae any friends at all, was the equivalent of this weekend last year :sob:)

Just chilling under my sofa blanket as per usual

Do you have a sofa blanket? Or do you sit on the sofa dry (as I call it)?

I am so sorry that your standards were so low at that point.

I hope the months since have been more interesting.
