Big day tomorrow so today and tonight have been quite busy. Celebrating my birthday (which has already been) starting with a dinner thing with family and close friends and then opening up for a party with more friends later in the evening. Me and my parents have been cooking and preparing and organising things all day. Bit tired now but I’m really really looking forward to it, think it’ll be a lot of fun!

ace, i just noticed one of them was drinking Grolsch with the fancy lids and two bottles were left aside from recycling - nabbed the little red rubber bits for extra guitar strap locks, natch.

weird coincidence though as BOTH guitarists at the gig earlier had their strap come off mid-song (nae strap locks, tsk) and i thought “that reminds me, must get a couple of bottles of Grolsch soon, i could do with a couple more of those things”

I watched part of ‘Bridget Jones’ Baby’, then an episode of ‘Fraiser’ and then went dancing with my mates. Got some solid moves in and danced with a lady I really like. Good times.

Sitting on my bedroom floor now. Drinking beer, eating crisps and listening to Frank Ocean. Success.

got some on my Jag already. before i knew about them i bought some actual Fender ones which are very similar, like a sucker. except they’re really not flexible so they’re impossible to put on and are a load of shite. these are so much better.

have had these ones on my Tele for years which do a good job but are a bit of a bollocks for needing to be tightened all the time or they’ll fall off.

I’ve never seen those before. Can’t imagine they’d work better than the Grolsch washers. Straplocks are the greatest scam in the guitar accessory business. Had a set on my first bass, got rid of them and never looked back.
