15, but 3 are specialist placements (I only put myself down as interested in one of those, and I think it’s unliekly I’d get it as I don’t speak any other languages). So it’s more of a 1 in 5 chance than a 1 in 4 chance. Still OK odds but… yeah. It’s a year-long paid place on a trainee scheme so it’s a mix of training and working as a journalist, and you have a really good chance of getting Beeb jobs as a proper trained up journo after that. i know everyone shits on the BBC but it’s basically my dream job.

That sounds like an excellent opportunity. I did a two month unpaid internship on Horizon a few years back and it was a really great experience. And they took me on even after I couldnt name any episodes in the interview, so I’m sure you’ve done fine :grinning:

Also, you would not believe how people react when you say you’re with the BBC. People just melt.

Also, I mean… you’ve got to watch the shite films to appreciate the good ones… also sometimes films only appear crap upon the first watch, sometimes the more you watch them the more you realise the genius! (I don’t know… I’m going to go drink a whisky).
