Friday no ๐ŸŸ lunch thread

#1

Iโ€™m not in my own work today and this place doesnโ€™t have a proper canteen so no fish n chips today :disappointed_relieved:. Panini, Capri Sun and caramel shortbread. Tell me what you got lunch fans.

#2

Fish looks a little overdone.

#3

Itโ€™s fish and chips day in the canteen, so obviously I had โ€œspicy orientalโ€ chicken (is this problematic? Feels problematic), mushy peas and about four undercooked chips.

Already looking forward to dinner.

#4

Also, Iโ€™ve been coming to this place every month for a year and a half and didnโ€™t realise that this little cafe was just beside my office. Been walking to a petrol station m&s instead

#5

prรชt avocado and chipote tortilla, not bad tbh! plus popcorn and coffee.

#6

Fuck you for making me laugh at this.

#7

LOLLLLLLLLL

#8

Itโ€™s a terrible, and very unfunny, Friday tradition.

#9

Iโ€™ve had that before, was pretty nice apart from too much coriander.

My panini has kidney beans in it :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

#10

Shortbread looks good laelfs.

Got me a cheddar and chutney sandwich.
Got me some salt and vinegar mccoys.
Got me a banana.
Got me a Starbar.

#11

Iโ€™ll endeavour to get some actual fish for you next week.

#12

:grinning: you eat what you like chief.

#13

#14

I had pasta and pesto from last night with some added spinach.

I had to rush a Mars Bar at the last minute because a student who hadnโ€™t attended since December and was definitely going to be withdrawn arrived just before my class.

#15

2 slices leftover pide (very good)
some leek, potato and chicken soup (fantastic)
couple of jaffa cakes

yet to eat:
banana
passion fruit skyr

#16

first @ghostpony and now you! is pizza and soup a new craze iโ€™ve missed?

#17

Papa Johns have started doing a pizza with Minestrone in the crust.

#18

oh for ffs fuckโ€™s sake

#19

We used to sell those shortbread thingys in my old work for like 50p. I used to โ€œaccidentallyโ€ smash them up so I could eat them behind the counter or put them out as samples that Iโ€™d then demolish the vast majority of.

#20

imagining you smashing up the entire stock of shortbread now
