yeah i felt the same way when i lived in moss side. its way nicer than it was in the 90s when it was centre of the good ol’ manchester gun triangle, all the gangs got cleared out about 10 years ago now and its probably the only place ive lived where ive felt like a part of a proper community. oh i suppose chorlton i did as well but moss side felt like a community of normal people rather than indie dickheads

he was a genuinely terrifyingly intimidating man but he’d always keep an eye on your car as long as you parked it in the right place. also had a soft spot for our little dog
