There was a woman walking down a really busy road i cycle down. Lots of corners, people bombing down there at 70+. Lethal enough for bikes. No pavement. She was dressed all in black and pulling a suitcase. Another cyclist had stopped. We both tried talking to her. She didnt speak english. Listened politely then carried on walking down the road into incoming traffic.
We called the police then positioned ourselves on either side of the road (both in high vis) to slow the traffic down so she wasnt hit. Police took half an hour or so but glad they arrived when they did as it was getting dark.
I need a beer.
