I’m annoyed because I’d done (a bit of) work this morning, on the basis that then I’d have the evening free to do what I want. What I want to do is go for a walk. It was nice this morning and now it’s utter shite outside, and doesn’t look like it’ll improve.

I then joined OKC and feel slightly out of my depth.

Probably going to buy something off the Bandcamps.

Just bailed on a work meal with important collaborators because my fiancee is ill. Such a bad excuse but it was the best one I could come up with that wasn’t a complete lie. Am I good? I wasn’t properly invited anyway, I stupidly invited myself this morning out of conversational awkwardness with my boss.

Am on a train home. There’s a parent on the train with two young children. She’s helped the eldest climb into the overhead luggage racks and now the youngest wants to climb in as well.

wrote to franco manca to complain that my takeaway pizza had anchovies on it when i ordered without, hoped to get a discount voucher or something, but the manager emailed me to personally invite us back for a complimentary meal on the house which i’m obviously never gonna do. you win this round, franco.

I think the date went really well, hung out for the last four hours. I’m heading to my housemate’s gig at seven and then seeing loads of other bands as the night goes.
