In a highly whimsical touch to all this weather, the wind has liberally scattered our garden with petals from next door’s roses (there’s also a shitload of sticks and other assorted crud but at least it’s sort of pretty).

This weather is doing my box in. Its nearly June and it’s 8 degrees and raining sideways out there.
I’ve been really restless yesterday and today - I need warmth and sunshine and outdoor activity!

We’ve had a few days here where I’ve done double takes as it’s looked like it’s snowing, but it’s been blossom and seeds being blown around.

allo all. last day of holidays, alas. was supposed to be taking a boat trip to loch coruisk to visit the spot where my wife & i got married and where her ashes were scattered, but high winds have cancelled the boat and the weather is too grubby to attempt the 15-mile hike there & back. i’m sure i’ll find something else to do, but i’m a bit sad now.
