It’s good in the way, as I’ve too much work for just me, but my boss is now off for 10 days and I’m basically “showing the ropes” now. Difficult to hand anything of mine over though.

Went to a beer festival, German style last night. It was great there was dancing, singing plenty of beer sloshing. Someone poured a whole stein over someone else, that’s a lot of liquid! I have been to a few German style beer halls recently and they a great atmosphere.

Got invited round to someone’s house to play some board games this weekend. Asked if they wanted me to bring any of my games.

Sat at the café at The BFI currently. I’ve got a ticket for I, Daniel Blake at 2:30pm. Then a retirement do for a woman I used to work with at my old hospital. It’ll be a slight reunion for me too.

It was a brilliantly sad film. I won’t give away any of it here but definitely worth watching.

I’ll probably will get abuse here by saying that unfortunately a Corbyn led Labour Party has ensured a Tory government until 2025. The poorest and weakest in society deserve a strong opposition to keep a Brexit-ing Tory government in check. I know there are a lot of Corbyn-ites here but a very left leaning Labour Party will actually hurt those they want to help because of their sheer unelectability.
