I wonder if back in the day before bowls they made like really thick pies and ate soup out of the pie for a month and then eventually ate the piebowl crust and made a new one
doubt it.
they did used to keep perpetual soups going through, just throwing stuff into it now and then.
probably drank water out of a hollowed out apple in the days before cups too
