It was big thing about (I guess?) 15 years back when one of the St James Park pelicans ate a pigeon in front of a traumatised kid (allegedly traumatised I guess).

If you hunt on Google for Pelican eats pigeon there are a few videos but they’re not pleasant. Let’s just say that pigeon is going to fight like hell…and lose.
