not much to say, really man.

met this girl in the cafe the other day. chatted a bit. she gave me her business card. as I’m not in the business of business, I took this as some sort of cheeky approach.

sent 1 text, followed by 16 whatsapp messages (it’s the preferred method of communication these days, who knew) and yeah, she’s coming round tonight for movie and what have you. I had actually invited myself over to hers for a tremendous meal on message 10, but she suggested Tuesday…and Tuesday is footie day…so fuck that!

so yeah, bird will be having the company of the fairer sex tonight for the first time in almost 3 years. quite a big thing for me. gonna sink a few ales before she comes ove, have a long bath and pray that she likes jazz! she fucking better…

Record shop score. Went in to put some posters up for gigs, asked the owner if he had an Prince and vóila! Spotted the Waits EP on the rack then. In and out in five minutes.

To be fair, this chap is sound out. Holds on to any Prince he gets for me. I do his posters around the city as well so he often cuts me a deal like today’s.

Just have to apply for this job now and I’m golden for the day.
