I once spent a night in a cell and got cautioned for “swearing at a police officer” in a similar situation.
I didn’t even think of it as swearing at the bus driver! Tbh I shouldn’t have given him the chance to claim the high ground, but if I was swearing at anything, it was at his stationary, non-aircon, heatstroke generator of a bus.
