Fuck the BBC

#101

My talents are wasted here swear to fuck

#102

..

#103

As noted upthread, this has been demonstrated to be untrue though. I don’t want to get all ‘facts have a well known liberal bias’ but those on the right get upset at the BBC’s informative programming, those on the left get upset at the BBC’s news coverage and it’s attempts to provide ‘balance’ by giving a platform (and therefore amplifying and normalising) to those who genuinely do not know what they are talking about.

#104

ugh :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

#105

do you think anyone has ever asked george lamb to speak up? fucking shouty prick

#106

absolute travesty of an article tbh

#107

Isn’t the question, “Does it feel like coming home?”

#108

Feels like this thread could do with a bump and some new contributions.

@moderators - can you strip off the Film & TV categorisation? I didn’t put it there cos this is as much (if not more) about news coverage online and on the radio, rather than ‘TV’ stuff. Thanks.

#109

Dismantle the BBC monolith and create regional, democratically owned and run public broadcasting networks under the ‘bbc’ umbrella.

#113

just to reiterate how much of a fucking shitshow this is a statement

#114

‘Protest’

#115

And the bloody Guardian also called them ‘protesters’. FFS.

#116

The Guardy headline I saw called it an attack, which is better than the “fine people on both sides” approach of the BBC.

#117

Oh god, they’re going to do a “Tommy: hero or villain” documentary aren’t they?

Best bit will be some kipper twat saying he’s our Che Guevara.

#118

They probably amended it after criticism since I saw the first report…

#119

This is genuinely disgusting
