Spring is obviously a good time to visit Kew. Perhaps with the warm February things might be a bit ahead of schedule. The bluebells in the north west are very popular and they’ll probably be out in the next month. I guess the long border will be springing into life around then too. The treetop walk is good while the trees still have no leaves.

I’d say go around Easter, but not at Easter.

Nice one filth, this is grand. Will try and get over there mid-April. Think the ticket throws in a little go around Kew Palace too :+1:

When I say north west I mean south west because their map faces west…

I can also recommend proposing marriage on the balcony of the Palm House if that’s your kind of thing.

N’aww you old softie

they also have meerkats, exotic spiders, stick insects, and bats at tropical world. you should go if you’re ever in leeds.

Hate Tropical World.

Yeah there’s the Palace and a couple of other houses your can go in (like a cute little Tudor cottage) but they’re not open all year round so check the dates if you want to go in those. It’s also massive so be prepared to walk a lot.

wtf, why? :open_mouth:

Am I under arrest, officer?

Hate all zoos. They should release all the animals and just keep the plants, would make Leeds interesting for a couple of days too.

Also, has some kind of weird disproportionate love from Yorkshire folk.

we don’t have much up here, leeds basically wants to be london and they’re paving over most of the woodland, motorways through the meadows and that

There’s a nice bit of woodland around Meanwood. Like the farm there too. Nice for a hungover stroll
