Any recommendations for songs similar to Funeral Singers by Califone?
I can’t let a thread about one of my favourite bands go without a response but also I can’t really answer it.
Almost everything by Califone is worth a listen.
There are a number of artists that have that slightly off kilter folky/bluesy sound. I hear it a bit in some Wilco, Songs: Ohia, Akron Family, Smog and even The Microphones. But that’s the best I can do.

Haha, you just listed off some of my favorite bands! I haven’t heard of Akron Family, though, so I’ll be sure to give that a listen!
