This is exactly why I don’t have any tattoos. Really wanted some when I was about 15 then when I got old enough to actually get one I realised the stuff I’d wanted a few years ago was shit. I’d probably have loads of stars and Biffy Clyro/Smashing Pumpkins lyrics down my arms by now, and not good ones.

Each time I consider getting one I think about what I would’ve got 3 or 4 years before and just buy a t-shirt or something instead

I met Grant Hart a few years ago and he was such an arsehole that I thanked my younger self for not doing it.

I only have one homemade t-shirt, a Grandaddy one my friend Leyla made for me a few years ago. It has totally fallen apart now.

Yeah, they must have been pretty tough to bear that. I wonder did it contribute to Hart’s drug taking? Very difficult to handle that pressure.
