Game Night (2018)

Great film

Great comedy. Has pretty much the only funny Donald Trump joke in any 2016-2020 pop culture.

Always feels a bit weird when Kyle Chandler is playing a dickhead though.

That dog sure did like blood

I think we can all agree on that, at least

definition of a 6/10

I don’t think I’ve laughed at a scene in the cinema as much as I laughed at the squeaky toy/surgery bit.

I like your top 20.

I’ll probably disagree with some films there but it’s the differences between people’s choices that makes it a strong top 20 (if I’m making sense).

Glad it finally got its own thread

Triple H ?

feel like there’s been a couple of good comedies recently - Blockers (which looked insanely shit from the trailer), Good Boys (basically like 12 year old Super Bad) and I guess Booksmart counts as a comedy which is 10/10 in my books.

that’s literally all I can think of. is it really that hard to make a good comedy?! I can’t keep watching Role Models and I Love You Man over and over again.

It didn’t quite nail the ending, but I liked Longshot.
