Game of Thrones spinoff-orama rolling thread

Steals and just chucks it in there without much consequence
Kind of see how the vague folklore of the far off lands, the African part etc would echo the hyperbole that British people probably had back in the 12th century or whatever

Now they’ve finished Game Of Thrones, they should do other Game Of spinoffs like Game Of Rockpaperscissors

Yeah hard to tell if it actually interests me because it sounds genuinely different and worth exploring, or if it’s just because it’s new and shiny

Same  Absolutely ridiculous. I still don’t understand why Billy Zane was involved!

always just had these ones m9

I’m pretty sure those editions were first published in like the mid 90s, grandad

My brother is looking for the thirteenth book in the series with that style cover artwork and is doing his nut trying to find it. Has me looking for it in every second hand bookshop I go to now.

I had to do the same for the last one because they’d changed the covers again in shops, got it on ebay I think

I suggested that idea but I forgot that he is a prick like me and likes the thrill of finding things serendipitously in shops. Damn him.

I grew up with the original Darrell Sweet covers from the first book through to the ninth (Winter’s Heart), they then switched to the serpent/wheel design in the UK.

Look at this ad I just got

The faces, the faces

Sorry to anyone who clicked this expecting news on a spinoff
