Games in Films

I’ve got a T of this

not to mention the Resi 2 bits which were a prototype for Shaun of the Dead

This is the only part of The Thing I don’t like. Just seems so mindless/selfish - you’re not getting a replacement chess computer in the arctic circle in a hurry :grimacing:

I think Chess Wizard is actually real?

imagine Kurt Russell facing off against Margit, the Fell Omen

Enjoy the fact that he’s so smug about moving his king into the corner when surrounded by a rook, bishop and queen and then scandalised when Chess Wizard somehow defeats him :woman_shrugging:

I’ve never embedded a YouTube clip before. Wish me luck.

the ending of Tár is a surreal one

In the live action 101 Dalmatians film, the main character has changed from a struggling composer (as he is in the cartoon) to a struggling solo games developer.

His aim each year is for his game to be enjoyed by a child who apparently decides what game will be popular for Christmas that year.

I was pretty sure as a kid that it was exactly how games got made.

Looks kind of fun
