Thought it was an excellent port tbh - I’m not so sure we’ll it come to switch - can see them looking to Skyward Sword first as that’s not had a re-release yet.

I had a wonderful 4 years of playing a Wii U and it’s a great machine. But given that the Switch has years ahead of it, it’s pretty hard to justify buying it even fairly cheaply over a Switch.

I agree it’ll hold its resale value though and be a collector’s item. It’s great for playing Wii games on too.

If you do end up getting it, and WWHD on it is great, especially with the second screen, holler and I can also recommend a bunch of great games for it. But you should go into it knowing that many of the consoles best games are now on Switch and the handful that remain could still be ported (WWHD/ Twilight Princess, SM3DWorld)

I think there’s only a few unlikely ones due to the controls: Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Wii Sports Club, Affordable Space Adventures, ZombiU, Nintendoland. I also am not entirely sure how Metroid Prime Trilogy would work without Motion Controls.

The first two were GameCube games originally, so shouldn’t be that hard to map the controls.

True, but Corruption used them a load and I personally felt it was loads better with them.

I’m still really confused how good the JoyCon are as Motion Controllers. They seem pretty decent in Just Dance, 1-2-Switch and ARMS.

away from RL maybe God Of War just isn’t for me. i really don’t like the battles. they’re just really frustrating rather than fun, i’m not a massive gamer and maybe this kind of battle sequencing has a name? but i can’t get into it.

i’d like a kind of horror/ mystery type game for ps4 if anyone has any recs?

Hate to hear that about GoW, only picked up a ps4 this summer and after Spider-Man and Witcher 3 I was looking at giving it a go.
