Or being afraid to run fast in case you crash into a small enemy that you can’t see in time and you lose all your rings

Maybe the game’s an allegory for road safety?

This is why I never got the hype over Sonic Mania. It just reminded me that even in its heyday Sonic was never particularly good.

Got a new job, not had time to play games which is annoying. I’ve been playing a lot of mobile stuff…they really aren’t as bad as they used to be (world of kings and perfect world).

What games are you super hyped for this year? What do I need to get?

The stash tabs go on sale quite often, if you can resist.

i was just reading about the sales this very minute. looks like the next sale might be around when the new league starts.
and it’s getting harder now. i’m dying a LOT in every big boss fight. :frowning: just started part 2. i think i start losing xp when i die now? there was no notification in game that that is a thing but i did read it in a few places on teh interwebs. rip levelling.

Can’t remember. You do want to try to keep your resistances capped though, you get an increasing penalty to them each act. It helps loads.

I’m still playing Judgment. And I recently replayed NFS Most Wanted on PS3 (which still has a very active online component). Oh, and I’m getting Astral Chain soon.

I also started Digital Devil Saga on PS2 but it was a bit dull. Shame.

Reviews are in and they’re good. I mean, its on gamepass so I’m going to doing this regardless.

Might borrow my pal’s Xbox One. He doesn’t use it. I used to have one too, but, ya know. Wasn’t for me in the end.

I had an Xbone until i decided to upgrade my PC. But thankfully Gamepass is on PC now as well so all good here.

Oh yeah, nice. I’ve never gotten on with pc. More of a ps and Nintendo kid. Do have a 360 for halo and lost odyssey though.

Need to get back to playing this

I think they’re doing £4 for three months of game pass on pc so might be a good time to sign up. I fancy trying out forza horizon 4 and a couple of other things too. Hope the Xbox pc app isn’t too shitey for downloading and launching stuff

It feels quite natural going from a point-and-click adventure game to Hitman 2. I sometimes wish the Hitman games would lean a tad more into the fact that they’re essentially point-and-click adventures disguised as action games.

Quite a nice for-the-weekend sort of game as well. Don’t really care about the story at all, but it’s fun to get lost in the mad worlds they’ve put so much effort into creating. Do wish I was a bit more in the spirit of running with it, I often find myself reloading cause I know I could’ve pulled my plan off with more aplomb and all that bumf.

Playing the Code Vein demo. Dark Souls style action but with anime design, supposedly, first proper cut scene has a girl in a tiny dress with almost entirely exposed pendulous, swinging breasts. I hate shit like this,

The app is actually super minimal and clean. I’m a fan

The game got awful reviews I think

Hhmm you must be thinking of something else - it’s out at the end of the month

The extent they’ve gone to to make this like Dark Souls is pretty ridiculous, save for the animation style and different names for things it is a clone, right down to not being able to fucking pause.

Obviously with the souls series being my favourite thing ever I’m actually having fun with this though. It’s just very derivative and that schoolgirl anime bullshit earlier really pissed me off

Edit: oh yeah the level design is really similar to DS too: locked door at the start of an area that you loop back to, little paths you can take off of a cliff edge to get goodies, slightly raised areas with loot you have to loop back on and are one way (you have to drop down) etc etc

Batman Arkham Knight is a free game on PS4.

Big fan of the 60s TV show. I presume it’s similar and not gritty.
