it seems to include all the year 1 content except ‘forsaken’? i just found this

and forsaken doesn’t seem to be available on pc anyway??? it’s not on steam that i can see. but i don’t even really know what forsaken is so eh who cares i suppose?

WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE SO WEIRD. I JUST WANNA SHOOT STUFF AND KNOW WHAT I NEED TO PAY FOR OR NOT

I assume it’s because Destiny was so broken they decided to make a meta game out of finding out this stuff.

IKR!!! games shouldn’t need to come with INFOGRAPHICS

going through that twitter thread it seems ‘forsaken’ should be available as well on steam today

the new ‘expansion’ if we still call them that comes with a ‘season pass’ which seems to be why the press is calling it “like what that fortnite game does”, and the deluxe edition comes with FOUR season passes. righto, think i’ve got that right now

the new new expansion is also being described as ‘standalone’ which in this context i have no idea what it means cos obviously it needs the base game to function

i am too old for this shit. bring back loading games from cassette

Bounced right off of Gears 5 after YET ANOTHER game breaking bug. I despair. It was the final straw, which is a shame as I liked the writing/characters and it was beautiful but the long empy open world bits and jank has made me just not bother.

Bounced right into: Bloodstained which I am enjoying a lot. Took me a while to get used to playing a metroidvania where you need to remember to save because death is a big fuck you if you dont regularly hit dem save points but once I got used to that I’ve been having a blast. Reckon I’m going to binge it this weekend.

Still liking Life is Strange 2 but episode 4 veers dangerously towards utter stupidity in a couple of key points aye

Avoid this game

I mean there is some interesting gameplay parts to it - just smashing up zombos with random homemade bats and clubs - but it’s the storyline/side missions mechanics that is a HUGE problem

It just doesn’t seem to go together coherently and I feel i’m just plugging along now to get it finished. The first half of the game seemed to be telegraphing a huge event with a lot of lead up - then if you advanced the storyline you missed it all! Turns out this story they were setting up was a side mission only - and i missed it and can’t go back

Save your money - wait for Last of Us 2

What part of the story was this?
I sacked the game off at about halfway, when I realised I was halfway done and not four fifths done. Very repetitive. Would’ve been fine if they’d just stuck with those first three areas and tightened up what they did have.

I think I have hit the last boss of Blasphemous. Bosses really take a difficulty spike towards the end, wasn’t ready for some of the spot on parries expected of me, pretty fun though, got some Dark Souls vibes of perfect execution for one boss.

Game is pretty good, the combat does not really develop beyond the first few hours but found it enjoyable enough. The art design is great, feels like despite the grimdark aesthetic they have fun later on with some designs…one boss in particular is wonderfully ridiculous in how you fight it.

The game’s big weakness is its reliance on platforming. So many instant deaths on spikes or falling into holes. Feels weird in a game where you want to explore and need to backtrack at points to have so many insta-death pits, really soured some of my play sessions. Also, it could really do with a few more fast travel points, taking five minutes to go give one item to a key character each hour is really frustrating.

That said, I’ve really enjoyed it, depending on how long it takes for this final boss it will probably have taken me 10 hours to beat.

oh boy, warframe really wants me back. it’s given me 10-hour boosters every day 4 days in a row and just now i unveiled a riven mod for my favourite rifle. hrrrrrrrrrrngh. i only went and got the riven cos the path of exile realm went down for 20 mins for patching.

I’m enjoying Borderlands 3 but not loving it.

The gameplay is still great and the recurring characters are so much fun. The zones are interesting and the villains are suitably nuts.

It’s just noticeably lacking the humour that I loved in the previous games, the new characters are falling flat and the boss fights so far have all been really, really bad.

You… like… the characters?

Everything involving writing seems like trash based on what ive seen. Especially seeing what theyve done to my beloved Rhyse and Vaughn

Played a bit of the Mario Kart phone game. It’s weird. The actual races themselves are fine - a bit odd to get used to, but not bad when you’re into it. Still not sure if I’m racing bots are actual other people as every race has been incredibly easy so far, even at 150cc.

However, outside of that, I find the whole thing incomprehensible. I have to collect coins? And stars? And rubies? And these can be exchanged for random things? And these things can be upgraded? What? It’s like a fruit machine, just blinking lights and PRESS HERE NOW buttons. I don’t believe anyone can enjoy this kind of thing. It’s awful.

(Just looked and apparently they’re AI drivers given names as though they’re real people. Weird).

Ah yeah, Tina, Marcus, Ellie, Lilith, Tannis, Brick - even Claptrap. GBOLs.

I got addicted for the last few days. Uninstalled this morning, you reach a point where to get Stars you really need to be paying. It’s really bad. Why can’t Nintendo make good mobile games.

(I’ll have one as soon as they get a discount)

Also Mother 3 is the nicest game ever, on track to being a top 10 ATD for me :+1:

this and the AI pretending to be real people is why I binned it off pretty quickly

need a proper new Mario Kart ASAP imo tbh

I’ve headed to the south area now, seemed to have skipped blowing up caves etc

Maybe it’s still coming but feels like that’s gone. More into the love story side of it now

I’m with you, they should’ve just focussed on that north area
